Verify improvements achieved by projects Ｏn both fronts. Promote and assist in the use of BluePrint, and verify evidences of project completion exist to enhance replication. Provide technical and hands-on support to project leader and sponsor, with an analytical approach. Identify and propose remedy when projects are not progressing as planned. Continuously share and support best practices replication across the facilties in AP and globally.
Act as key member of the Regional Manufacturing Leadership team.
Provide direction and support to the Regional Manufacturing Leadership Team Ｏn Focused Improvement Pillar.
Coach the Regional FI Pillar. Advocates Ｏn the alignment required between functional activities/initiatives and Plant Optimization FI Pillar deployment approach.
Plan all activities related to Plant Optimization FI Pillar in alignment with Global, Region & Plant members.
Ensures all plants (within Region) stays Ｏn plan.
Provide update Ｏn progress.
Understand the Plant Optimization FI Pillar process: Plant Optimization House, Pillars Methodology.
Coordinate the Skill Matrix Assessment for the Regional FI Pillar. Advocates & establish required training plan.
Provide teaching, coaching, mentoring and career development to the plant FI teams, plant optimization leaders and plant optimization practitioners
Create an environment & process of best practice sharing & replication between plants.
Communicate & replicate best practise/benchmark with other regions.
Travel to plants to learn the process, help & evaluate progress.
Support Plant Optimization FI Pillar implementation by performing Maturity Assessments and delivering trainings and mentoring Ｏn PO Academies.
On Focused Improvement front, define strategy and guide plants in AP for it's execution. As capabilities development, provide trainings, coaching and advising, creating problems solvers throughout the region. Educate and ensure the execution of pillar process for FI, from perfect business alignment and deliverables targets, throught losses analysis and priorization, for correct tool application in a wide range of projects, creating sustainable results in a continous improvement cycle.
Education
BS - industrial engineering or other engineering discipline. Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
6 Sigma DMAIC Green Belt or Black Belt Certification.
Advanced technical Degree or MBA Degree. 6 Sigma DMAIC Black Belt or Master Black Belt Certification.
Experience
3 years’ experience Ｏn managing plant continuous improvement & Focused Improvement department; Minimum of 5 years in leadership role within manufacturing environment.
5 years' experience Ｏn application of continuous improvement and Focused Improvement tools in a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge and/or experience in implementing Lean principles in a Mfg environment.
Experience in leading/teaching and mentoring projects across multiple sites & driving change management initiatives.
Additional experience Ｏn manufacturing (Production Specialist or Business Center Manager as examples) is recommended
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to work across all levels of the organization: to include hourly workers through executive management.
Knowledge of establishing, monitoring & rewarding based upon output standards
Expert knowledge of Focused Improvement, Six Sigma Methodology and Master Black Belt
Shows evidence of ability to teach, guide & mentor others & demonstrates some leadership ability.
