Responsibilities:
Independently develop time standard data and piecework rates, evaluate ergonomic/motion in positions, provide data to management and union. Make recommendations of pay scale and review as required.
Independently determine factory staffing and changes in labor requirements as necessitated by ticket fluctuation and plant capacity.
Coordinate with Engineering Department to conduct efficiency studies, justify capital expenditures, and recommend plant layout improvements.
Independently conduct job analysis On positions, evaluation responsibilities, physical demands, working conditions, and skill levels. Participate and assist in the facilitation of continuous improvement activities and act as a resource to production members.
Support plant optimization by applying IE expertise to identify and implement FI activities throughout the organization to achieve or exceed TDC targets.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial engineering, or other engineering field, Masters level degree is desired.
Minimum 2 year-experience working with multidisciplinary engineering and maintenance associates to achieve cost reduction targets.
Experience in union environments.
Minimum 2 year-experience in manufacturing environment.
Knowledge in Operational Excellence, Plant Optimization and Zero Loss.
Ability to use appropriate computer-ba
Ability to use MOST, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing Processes.
Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
